MANY listings have outdated postage, due to USPS consistently raising postage'Like this past week, had planne don $7 postage, ended up costing me $12'USPS ships by weight and in zones By selling THIS ITEM for $15 postpaid I LOST money. Priority mail WAS under $6, is now 6.80 PLUS Paypal and etsy payment also take percentage of postage so am LOSING money on postage on many items
More often than none when FREE SHIPPING is noted, unless it is priority mail, it is NOT-I will reinvoice you should you decide you want 1 or both-If item includes FREE shipping such is usually parcel post or media mail NOT priority. USPS Postage has gone up considerably since many of my listings were made-all such manually one by one
I ship with USPS as it is closer to where I live...such is more convenient for me-I do NOT ship daily-I ship 1-2 times per week. There are deterrents at times for such as well ...some items have been listed for several years, postage rates have gone up considerably in such time-if postage costs me more, I expect buyer to reimburse me for such, do we understand one another?
If you are not registered, nor have confirmed address or maybe unverified at Paypal, you MUST add $3 for signature confirmation.

WORTH REPEATING Many of my items listed before USPS raised their postage prices
I manually go to post office, I do NOT print postage from home-sometimes I put stamps on packages, send through UNDEPENDABLE Mailman-

Many USPS postage rates now far above what is listed in listings-priority mail, especially has gone from $5 to $6 practically, medium box was under $10 and is now $12.35 and large flat rate box is $17 something-am manually changing postage rates as I renew items, when i remember
I feel it is fair if you reimburse me should postage be more than $2 over what i charge you, with such in mind I do REFUND POSTAGE OVERAGE if such is MORE THAN $1 difference MOST of the time, depending on circumstances for cost of shipping materials, box, etc

I'd like to consider all sales final as I show item I am selling, describe it honestly -no refund, no return, all sales final but if such does happen, perhaps I mistakenly described something wrong or if there is problem, let's work it out amicably, as I believe in good communication.BUT try to be up front, due to buyer's remorse or you changed your mind or you found it elsewhere cheaper or need the money you overspent -just plain NO REFUND

In case of USPS insurance claims,IF ITEM IS/WAS INSURED, if you did NOT opt for such, pay extra for such though, NOT covered.
Such must be done within 3 days of receipt-first notify me of such, wait for my response, we will decide what's best, Good COMMUNICATION is best way to solve any problem
2 ways a insurance claim can be done, either you physically take item back to USPS, surrender such to them, start filling out paperwork yourself -they will send such back to me OR I can file online, but you need t cooperate with me by furnishing me photos plural of damaged item, its packaging etc
Again i repeat, make copy of original listing or find on www proof of what item is worth what you paid, id such, you take photos of item, packaging, at least3 for them to see such .
It's easier to do such online, since I hold insurance number, receipt, proof of sending, I file insurance claim at this end. When I am awarded such so will you be.
You will be required to take to your post office and lose item. I have been selling on etsy for 3 years, had but 2 claims/damaged items out of 100's sent during this time here -1000's in last 10 years easily on another online selling venue, I KNOW how to pack securely, safely-I try to pack things securely.-
No refund till all paperwork is filled out for insurance claims, GOT STUNG couple times in last few years here on etsy by newly registered users who do not follow through- Please Do NOT ask for immediate refund as such will not happen without your cooperation
