5 out of 5 starsOmg I audibly went “my hands are so comfy and warm!!!” When I put these on! They looked like they might be too big, but they fit perfectly, and aren’t snug or stiff. Wonderful gloves!!!

4 out of 5 starsLove the pattern and fleece lining. Not a fan of the thumb top that can flip up. I have long fingers and there is a space where my skin is exposed on my thumbs. Trying to decide if I want to take some yarn and sew them closed. Other than that, they are very warm and cozy.

5 out of 5 starsWarm and pretty. Good for taking winter photographs. For me, just a tad narrow cross the palm, but I suspect they will stretch a bit.

About Fortlandic
Empowering Women Entrepreneur Workshop (EW)²-“All you knit is love”
We are family owned business. I, my husband and my sister manage our online store here in USA. Three of us is the backbone of our company and basically share all the responsibilities. We are from Nepal and so is our product. All the products that we carry are hand knitted in Nepal by women who knit at their leisure time after completing their household responsibilities. We also have a sister company in Nepal which looks after the production and quality control and responsible for shipping the finished products to us.
We are selling hand knitted 100% woolen items that are lined with fleece for comfort and warmth. They are stylish, fashion forward and yet very comfortable. We have a variety of sweaters, beanies, hats, mittens, gloves, neck warmers and leg warmers for both men and women and soon planning to add kid’s products to our line.
The process starts with a design idea then we collaborate with the artisans (also knitting trainers) from Nepal to finalize and get their expertise. Once the design and colors are finalized the knitters are trained for the specific patterns if required. Once they are ready to knit the products, we provide them with the wool and necessary items. The sewing part of the production is also done manually. They knit at their own pace and their own convenience in the comfort of their home.
Khumbu Foundation is the nonprofit organization registered in the State of Colorado supports Women Empowerment in Nepal. And through this foundation we provide knitting training session to women with low income to help them support their families financially. After completing the training and depending upon their expertise, they are provided with knitting works. The byproduct of that is what we import here in US and sell online.
Empowering Women Entrepreneur Workshop (EW)², “All you knit is love” is a free knitting training program to improve the lives of women through needles and yarns.
Proceed from the sales will go towards Khumbu Foundation which is a non-profit organization that is actively involved in enrichment of lives of needy peoples!
