5 out of 5 starsA truly stunning bracelet! Jessi created a symphony of color, texture and form in this beautifully crafted piece of jewelry. The elements blend together, yet each has distinct character. She's used repetition of elements and design so that all relates. It is magical--the attention to detail and settings highlighting the flora/insect wing and stones, and subtle but beautiful enamel backgrounds. A special bracelet!

5 out of 5 starsI ordered these beautiful and unusual earrings to wear on my PhD defense day, because my major dissertation research was about an interaction between a plant and its grasshopper herbivore. They made a very special day even more memorable. Thank you.

5 out of 5 starsUnique earrings! I was looking for something different to wear when I move to the Southwest. I found this website quite by accident. I ordered these earrings and they are just stunning. I love how the two earrings are different but of similar design and color. These will get a lot of wear. Adore them. I will definitely purchase from this designer again.

*Wing*Stone*Ephemera* ::: Amulets to Protect and Portend ::: Handmade in ABQ, NM, USA
Like you, I have always collected the ephemeral—those things that turn to dust in time. Of course, I am overcome by all of it—this entire world full with wings and things, garden petals drying in books, sticks and stones, fossils and sand, odds and ends of this and that; But it is especially where the so-called natural world interfaces with the trappings of humanity that really inspires my work. Acrylic angles recall power-lines fragmenting the moving sky; faceted gems and water smooth granite are robins chortling in the gutter after a big rain.
I work with a variety of traditional jewelry making tools, including my grandmother’s acetylene torch and chasing stamps handmade from rebar remnants; but I delight in using unusual materials, like acrylic rescued from the waste stream, fascinating and collectable gem and mineral specimens, and wing and petal that show signs of a life well lived. Multi-layered and multi-colored vitreous enamel surfaces evoke the chimerical nature of the sky or the landscape, as I layer about 15 different enamel colors onto a single piece, kiln-firing the sugary powder into a hard glossy surface at a very hot 1450 degrees Fahrenheit. The results are always delightful, and sometimes surprising.
Each of my works is a modern-day curiosity cabinet, meant to display object and to hold space for memory. Link bracelets circle in a continuity of story; cuff bracelets converse over the space of the wrist. And mismatched earrings explore the tension between mirror image and facsimile, challenge our ideas about the value of symmetry, and invite us to consider the balance maintained between partners. What is one without the other?

Returns and exchange details
I cannot be responsible for damage caused by neglect, misuse, or abuse. My work is field tested and sturdy enough for normal daily wear. It is designed to be enjoyed, but it must be treated like art work.
Most stones used are all-natural, and untreated; please treat with care. Store acrylic-set specimens in a dry, dark place when not in use.
Do Not Immerse in Water. The bathroom is one of the worst places you can store any jewelry. Understand that perfumes, hair products, lotions, and other potions will alter the finish on acrylic, metal, and stones.
To clean acrylic, wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Metal will continue to patina and change over time with wear and use. Buff with a dry, clean kitchen scrubbing pad for a matte finish, or polish with a silver polishing cloth for a brighter shine if desired.
Most importantly, jewelry should be the last thing you put on, and the first thing you take off.
If, despite all these recommendations, you still think you received a defective or damaged product, please contact me with the details. I will require photos and a description of the circumstances of the item's failure. If the product is deemed defective, you will recieve a full refund upon my receipt of the defective product and its original packaging.
Repairs for damage caused by neglect, misuse, or abuse, will be considered on a case by case basis, and may be subject to additional fees and shipping costs.
