About

Homegrown with care

Welcome! This store is finally open! After a long hiatus, I'm back at making fibers full of color and fun. Now I've added to my collections with my own farm's wool.

Our flock is a spinner's flock. Coated Cormo sheep and crosses make up our unique fiber flock. We raise our flock on a small family farm, rotationally graze them to keep them strong and happy, and shower them with attention on a daily basis.

We try to specialize in fine fleeced wool sheep. Dyeing is wonderfully fun and learning about how to utilize the plants that are all around me has been a great and new adventure in the arts. I'm excited to share all of my work with you.

Information about Cormo sheep can be found at: http://www.cormosheep.com/

We try to provide 100% wool, non super wash products for you to enjoy. A few skeins may pop in that contain nylon, but we try and only use small flock, 100% American wool when we are not using our own farm's wool.

I'm very active on Instagram! Please visit us under KristiPwith3

To see my work before I took time off to raise my three boys, please see my old Flickr page at https://www.flickr.com/photos/treefrogknits/albums. My previous store was on Hyena Cart under Tree Frog Knits where I specialized in providing hand knitted diaper covers, small sweaters/hats, dyed yarn and fibers.

I'm on Ravelry as treefroggin - friend me! You can find free patterns as well as a paid for hat pattern under Kristi Pyatt designs.

More information, short child created videos, and other farm tidbits can be found on my families farm website at www.pyattfoxrunfarm.com
