Announcement    I've been an artist for as long as I can remember. My professional career began in 1976 as a sign painter's apprentice, also learning graphic design. I freelanced as a designer for over fifteen years, then went back to school and earned a BFA Illustration at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. After moving back to Humboldt County, California, where I grew up, I studied oil painting privately with a local artist for two years. Since 2003 my paintings have been accepted into a variety of national juried exhibitions. I've also had a solo exhibition at the National Museum of Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar and last year was pleased to have a retrospective of twenty years of painting in oil hosted by Westhaven Center for the Arts.

The art I'm offering here are generally smaller pieces that have not yet found a home. I've priced them affordably since I believe everyone deserves to have art in their life. You can select from oil paintings, watercolors and graphite drawings. Commissions will be considered. I specialize in the natural world, mostly animals, particularly subjects from Mongolia. I've traveled there twelve times since 2005.

If not satisfied you may return any purchase within two weeks for a full refund.
Thanks for visiting!
