Beautiful mug with a lovely design
About my pottery
Welcome to my shop! I am a part-time Seattle potter, inspired by the colors and textures of my travels and the colors of the plant life of the pacific northwest. Seattle skies can be drab and gray much of the year, so I'm always on a mission to bring color and texture into my home to brighten up my living space.
All of my pottery is thrown on the wheel and fired to cone 4. I use lead-free and food safe clay and glazes, and all of my pieces can be washed in the dishwasher and heated in the microwave.
I make everything pretty durable (read: not paper thin) so that you can have confidence using this pottery in your home every day!
I enjoy working directly with customers for dinnerware orders - please message me if you'd like to put together a custom order!
Also check my website for more patterns & colors! www.foxtailpottery.com

I fire to cone 4, 5 and 6, and all wares are made with commercially certified non-toxic glazes and clay.
Pieces are dishwasher safe, although I generally recommend hand-washing to keep your pieces in the best shape over time (or make sure to load/unload carefully to avoid chipping edges). Microwave use is also fine.
I also do custom orders, please message me for possible options! Depending on the time of year, there may be a waiting list for large orders.
Thank you, I hope you enjoy using my pottery!

IMPORTANT - For all WEDDING REGISTRY items, pieces will be picked up in my studio by the bride and groom as they have arranged, and WILL NOT BE SHIPPED to you! This has caused confusion in the past so I am hoping to make this clear!
** For "ready to ship" items,
I will ship your items within 3 business days of order placement. For U.S. addresses: Once shipped, items take 3-7 business days to arrive on average. A tracking number will be provided for your convenience. Items include breakage coverage, so if you save packaging and send me a photo, I will ship you a new piece at no charge if it arrives broken.
** For "made to order" items, the same breakage coverage applies as mentioned above. Depending on my schedule and how many orders are ahead of yours, processing times will vary. For large orders of 20+ pieces, expect to wait at least 6-8 weeks before your order ships.
** INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: For non U.S. addresses, delivery will take longer - I am just beginning to ship overseas, so please contact me with your country info and I can try to calculate more specific times & costs. Delivery could take 2-4 weeks after shipping, depending on location. **Breakage coverage is not provided for international shipping, but I will do my best to pack your item VERY well for a safe journey!
Before ordering, convo me to inquire about faster shipping options, or other carriers (buyer pays all costs involved). I'm happy to work with you on this if I can!
