"Well, How Did I Get Here?"
Durante gran parte de mi vida adulta, jugué con la idea de volver a trabajar con vidrieras. Estaba empezando a pensar en crear un lugar para esto cuando, a principios de 2020, comencé a pintar rocas y mandalas para hacer algo durante el encierro. Pensé que los dos podrían ir de la mano: pequeñas piezas de vidrieras, atrapasoles y hermosas piedras pintadas. El nombre "fragmentos" surgió de un intento de casar a los dos. Durante 2020, cuanto más aprendí sobre la pintura de puntos y la pintura de mandalas, ¡más me encantó! Empecé a fundir piedras, luego portavelas, quemadores de incienso, ollas y platos. Me encanta la idea del arte funcional y estos elementos se hicieron cargo. He abandonado la idea de trabajar con vidrieras... ¡por ahora!
Tengo una Licenciatura en Diseño Gráfico y especialización en Bellas Artes. En el lado de las Bellas Artes, me concentré en Vidrieras, junto con la pintura acrílica.

For much of my adult life, I toyed with the idea of getting back into stained glass work. I was beginning to think about actually creating a place for this, when at the start of 2020, I started painting rocks and mandalas for something to do during lockdown. I thought the two might go hand in hand-- small stained glass pieces and suncatchers, and beautiful painted stones. The name "fragments" came about from an attempt to marry the two. During 2020, the more I learned about dot painting and mandala painting, the more I loved it! I began casting stones, then tea light holders, incense burners, pots and dishes. I love the idea of functional art, and these items took over. I've abandoned the idea of stained glass work... for now!
I have a BA in Graphic Design and minored in Fine Art. On the Fine Art side of things, I concentrated on Stained Glass, along with acrylic painting.
