A professional Book Nerd needs protection.

Hey All,

A little bit about my Book Huggers.

I know that book sleeves are all the rage right now. I won't lie, I have a few, and I have made a few. But for me, they just were not enough. I don't get my books dirty or damage them in my bag. I get mine dirty while I read. Especially when I read while I eat. I am always that person that has something on their shirt after a meal. And usually on the front of my book. I wanted something that stayed on my book while I read it. And so the Book Hugger was born.

The Book Hugger comes in 2 sixes, Middle Grade (MG), and Adult. While "standard sizes" very publisher to publisher, there is normally a range into which books fall. These two sizes have been designed to meet that need.

The great thing about a Book Hugger is that there is no book too thin, or chunckster too large to fit. All my designs will hold a book as thick as The Name of the Wind or IT (1000 pages) to as small as 50-100 pages like Murderbot titles.

Book Huggers are intended for hard cover books, but can, and have been used with paperbacks.

All Book Huggers are washable with like colors using standard washing techniques. Steam iron if need be.

About Pricing:
Shipping in the US is always free!

Adult Book Huggers start at $25 each and MG Book Huggers start at $20.

Price difference are based on the formula below:
-Hidden Snaps : +$5
-Special or custom order fabric that I can not get from local stores: +5

You will ALWAYS get the Book Hugger pictured when you check out. Because of fabric patterns, or snap colors, etc, I purposely list each Book Hugger separately so that there will be no surprises when it appears on your doorstep. I know I could list all Book Huggers in the same fabric as one item with "variations" but sometimes the variations are more than just the color of snaps, sometimes it is the way the pattern on the fabric lays. And because I believe in wasting as little as possible I do not try to "fussy" cut and make everything exactly the same.

I hope you enjoy your Book Hugger as much as I enjoy mine. To see what they look like when they get washed frequently (and occasionally eaten by a puppy), or just to see what this Professional Book Nerd is reading, you can find me on Litsy, LibraryThing, and Goodreads as LibrarianRyan.
