I started weaving in 2012 and quickly decided I wanted to dye and spin my own yarn to use. That took me in an unexpected direction and I discovered how much I like playing with color and fibers to create the raw materials others find inspiring. I've worked with many consignment shops, sold to some shops wholesale, and participate in art shows when I can. I balance my "fiber life" with a tech job that allows me to travel and rent places part of the year, hence my business name. I'm the free-ranger, and enjoy visiting yarn and fiber shops and meeting creative people in the places I land. When I'm not at my main studio/home, a small part of my studio travels with me.

I have previously been quite successful at selling items through regional art shows and via shop consignment. Due to Covid-19, I am shifting my inventory to this online store.
