I BUY EVERYTHING IN FRANCE AND SHIP IT TO YOU FROM DALLAS, TEXAS USA

Everything is insured and tracked so you are 100% covered.

My merchandise is bought in France but shipped from the United States. This saves you a considerable amount of money as shipping from France can be expensive. I buy in France, consolidate my purchases and ship them to Dallas, Texas USA. From there, I ship to you.

Everything I buy is vintage or antique but always in excellent condition. If something has a flaw, I will always tell you. I try to bring the beautiful old treasures of France to your home from the smallest French villages to the flea markets in Paris.

I have had a long, successful career in table settings and hope you enjoy the items that I have chosen for you. My company "Audrey" table linens began in 1979 and was the primary supplier of table linens to all the best stores from Bloomingdales to Target. I was also the licensee for Ralph Lauren table linens. I sold the company in 2000.

Here you will find an eclectic mix of items, lots of vintage linen, including beautiful oversize napkins, embroidered sheets and torchon ( kitchen towels), Christofle cutlery, horn handled knives, and so much more. It consists of different styles, from Art deco to Chateau chic but first and foremost French style.

Thinking I would enjoy retirement I settled into my life of living part of the year at my country home in France and the rest of the year at my home in Dallas.
That proved too quiet for me so I started French Vintage Home to bring the best of the French Flea Markets to my readers all over the world. Though many of the items are for the table, many are not. I bought them because I loved them and hope you do too.

I love the Japanese word Wabi-sabi. It is the quintessential Japanese aesthetic. It is a beauty of things imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. It is a beauty of things modest and humble. Much of this applies to things bought at the French flea markets.

I have also become a blogger so if you would like to follow my blog go to

I also have a web site which I hope you will visit, it is
www.frenchvintagehome.com
Thank you for all your support.

About

An American living in France

About twenty years ago I bought a 15th century chateau, in France, and had it totally renovated by a fabulous French architect. It was such a fun project and I loved every step of the way. Taking a ruin and turning it into a home was amazing.

I owned a very large company, in Dallas, where we manufactured and imported table linens, chair pads, kitchen towels and more. Audrey Table Linens was the name of my company.

My customers were all the best stores including the big box discount stores. I was the licensee for Ralph Lauren table linens which was a real delight as all the designs were done by his studio and made by my company.

After doing this for almost 30 years, I felt like it was time to sell. Though I have four grown children, they all had their own careers and were not interested in mine. That's not a bad thing.
In no time at all I had a buyer and sold my company.

I thought I would enjoy my "retirement" traveling the world with no responsibility. That got boring so after a year or two I chose to spend more time at my home in France. During the warm months there are so many flea markets and Brocantes all over France. I thought it would be fun to shop the Brocantes and bring these treasures to customers in the USA. I was right, so for the last six years I have been doing just that with French Vintage Home.

I seem to find things my customers will like and after cleaning them up, washing them and repairing them I put them into my Etsy shop.

I buy things that I would use in my own home. Join me on the adventure.

I hope you like what you see.

I am an American who lives half the year in country France. Without the help of my two assistants, one in France and one in Dallas, it would be very difficult. My thanks go out to you. A Bientôt

Frequently asked questions

How should I make a return.

Please contact me before making the return so I can tell you what needs to be done. The return must be made with the original packing material and within 7 days of receiving.

Getting you your credit is the most important thing to me, so I need to be sure the fragile items are packed properly and they arrive in the same condition that they left in.

There will be a $20 restocking fee on fragile items as I have to open each item to be sure nothing got damaged when it was shipped back to me.

What should I do if I am not satisfied with my purchase?

My number one goal is to make you happy. Please contact me before writing a negative review as I will do what it takes to make you satisfied.

I try to describe the items clearly . As I sell vintage and antiques, I really try to take the most accurate photos possible and describe them carefully. Please ask as many questions as you'd like as I would rather have you ask questions than have you disappointed with your purchase.

I will take returns but the item must be unused and in its original packaging. It is to your benefit that you do this so that I can credit you properly.

Is there a restocking fee

Yes, on fragile items there will be a restocking fee of $20 as I have to open each item to be sure it did not get damaged in the shipping back to me.
