A Small Town Girl Living the Dream
Hello everyone! I'm Jennifer.... owner, designer, maker, baker, mom, wife, etc. I love colors, flavors and the great outdoors. In my studio, I'm surrounded by hundreds of bolts of fabric, rolls of ribbons and trims, jars of accessories and galavnized pails of scraps (because every scrap is just waiting to become something fabulous). In my kitchen, I've got flavors galore and love exploring with new cooking/baking techniques. In my own "great outdoors", I have the beautiful Emerald Coast on one side and am embraced by the tallest, most beautiful pine trees on the other side. The smell of the morning air is my fave!
WIFE: Married to a super-hero. He flies around in his cape all day making sure everything and everyone is safe and happy. He's a fixer and a fierce protector of those he holds dear.
MOM: I am so lucky to be a mom to three grown boys (a police officer, a Navy Hospital Corpsman and an aspiring pub-owner) and twin tween daughters (a black belt in Taekwondo and an aerial silks acrobat). I've also been blessed over the last year with two new daughters-in-law.
OWNER: I'm so proud to have established a thriving business in the handcrafted industry. What began as a naptime hobby when my twins were infants nine years ago has exploded into a full-time (even overtime) business that just keeps getting bigger and better.
DESIGNER: After taking a sabbatical from my professional photography and beach wedding business when my twins were born, I'm so thrilled to have built this business which allows me to be "home" when the kiddos are home and still fuel my very obsessive need for creative design. My brain is constantly in design-mode, even when I'm sleeping.
MAKER: When I see it or dream it up.... or am challenged by another, I will attempt to make it, no matter what it is. I have a bad case of "if someone else can do/make it, I will not stop until I can do/make it".
BAKER: On the rare instance I'm not in my two-room studio, I can be found in the kitchen. My girls LOVE to bake, and I love baking with them!
ETC: If I'm not in my studio or the kitchen, you'll find me in my tennies on the road burning off the kitchen calories or having the time of my life at Disney. Yes, I'm a Disney nerd and proud of it!
