Welcome to my world....

Welcome to my world, I would describe my world as organised chaos!
Being a wife to a husband who works away in a high demanding job, it is left to me to run the house,and be a stay at home mother to our two boys who are 5 and 15 months.
I started FreyStitch by accidental addiction, I made a quilt for my first son., with the left over fabric I made another. I was soon making for friends and family, which is when my husband suggested I step up from being a hobbyist and turn it into a proper business.
So here I am with my little shop and I couldn't be more happier, the quilting has fanned out into toy making and pillows and a serious addiction to fabric, but I am loving every minute of this journey that I am on.

Payment
I accept payment via paypal, direct payment or cash on collection if you are in my part of the world.
Please note that i am in the UK, if you are ordering from abroad you are responsible for any additional custom and tax charges you may incur.
Shipping
I post out Wednesday as a general rule, however I will try and get to a post office over the weekend. If you do need an item urgently I can make a special trip or send the item next day delivery but please get in touch if you have time restrictions. ( next day delivery is an additional cost)
I use royal mail for all my deliveries and always obtain proof of postage. please bear in mind their terms of carriage. First class is nearly always within 2 working days however royal mail do stipulate that it can take up to ten working days. If your item is lost or damaged in the post I will be happy to assist you in making a claim for your product by producing proof of postage receipt and cost of item.
I always try an be fair with postage costs but please take into consideration packaging materials and cost of travel to and from post office. I will always try and combine postage but please email me for a quote as it depends on size and weight of package and it may be cheaper to send via another carrier.
AS a mother of a young child things can go wrong and I will keep you updated on all progress as and when it happens so you are never left in the dark.

All international deliveries are posted via Royal Mail. The aim will always be to get the parcel to your COUNTRY within 5-10 working days there after it is up to the customs and postal service of the receiving country as to how fast the parcel is processed through the system.
In order to keep postage cost low, I choose to send items that arent tracked Unless the order is of high value) If you wish your item to have tracking information please do let me know so I can give you an accurate postage cost.

Any order that are High Value items will always be sent via a tracked method with a postage rate that has been agreed PRIOR to order going through at the customers request or if the customer has purchased the shipping upgrade this protects the both buyer and seller from loss theft or damage to the item.
Any item that is not covered buy additional shipping will be sent as normal first class post via royal mail with proof of postage obtained.
I cannot be held responsible for items lost in the post if sufficient shipping upgrades have not been purchased or requested buy the customer. In the event of a lost parcel I can provide proof of purchase to aid you getting compensation from royal mail.

Custom, duties and any tax that are due are the responsibility of the buyer.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be delighted with your products...if you find that your item has arrived in less then perfect condition please get in touch with me WITHIN seven working days. Please take photos if you think this will help, especially if the item has been damaged in transit.

Please note that any custom made or personalized items are not eligible for refunds or exchanges unless the item is damaged.

If the items have arrived damaged please take photos and send them to me. Where by I can investigate the matter further. I may require you to send the faulty item back to me for further investigation.

Any refunds given are minus the shipping costs, unless the item is found to faulty on my part.Cost of return postage is also the responsibility of the buyer.
Additional policies and FAQs
For personalized items please allow 14 working days before dispatch. I aim to make items as quickly as possible but as the saying goes more speed and less haste. I do not want to risk a low quality product. If I am busy and it is likely to take more then 14 working days I will contact you to let you know and discuss options with you.
