5 out of 5 starsBeautiful hand-painted planter! There are two paintings of fledgling robins on the pot, which was a nice surprise. The pot is very well-made, and was exactly as described in the listing. I was looking for a one-of-a-kind, unique pot, and this little planter is just that!

5 out of 5 starsI had just purchased another mug from Daisy, but I saw this new one and couldn’t resist, since King is one of my favorite authors. Shipping was lightning fast, and the mug was packaged just as securely as the first one. I also love the cute magnet that was included.

5 out of 5 starsThis mug is just beautiful. It’s a great size and weight, and made very well. I love the way it feels in my hands. Packaging was also top notch and very protective. Don’t tell my other mugs, but this is my new favorite.

Hutchinson Art Fair May 2018
I love making pottery
I opened my Etsy shop in February of 2010, because I wanted my work to be accessible to people everywhere, not just locally. Etsy seemed like the perfect place to do that. You can find my pottery at The White Peacock in Lindsborg, Kansas, the Dyck Arboretum gift shop in Hesston, Kansas, Twice Told Tales in McPherson, Kansas, Crow and Co. in Hutchinson, Kansas and in Topeka at the Capital building gift shop and the Kansas History Museum, as well. You will find me at several art fairs through out the year, also.
Growing up I was taught to appreciate the beauty of nature. I am always noticing interesting shaped leaves while out walking with my kids. Much of my work features plant or animal designs incised on them.
I think I've always had an interest in creative activities. In grade school I remember telling people I was going to be an artist when I grew up. I would spend hours drawing or playing in the mud outside.
I took art classes in high school and enjoyed them so much that I decided to major in art in college. I graduated from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas in 2006 with a BA in Art Administration. When I graduated my husband and our parents got me a kiln and a potter's wheel, so I had the tools I needed to set up my pottery studio. My studio is across the driveway from my house on our family farm. My father-in-law had bees years ago, so I now get to use the "honey house" where he once processed the honey.
