About

The birth of Friggjasetr

Welcome to Friggjasetr, my dream come true small farm.

I have loved animals my whole life, and they have always been a big part of me. This, combined with a tremendous joy using my hands for any type of crafting or DIY projects, is a perfect match for small farming. I try to be as environmentally aware and friendly as I possibly can, which means big emphasis on recycling, and tending to the land and animals in a holistic manner. In short this means no chemicals or pesticides as far as possible, and reusing and recycling whatever possible. I have studied herbalism, homeopathy and various other holistic methods, and try to treat my animals, myself and my surroundings accordingly. I’m also a Reiki practitioner, which I find very useful. All the animals love it.

In my shop I offer alpaca roving, alpaca yarn, various kinds of handmade items, knitted, felted, spun or sewn, and at times some botanical and body products.

Thank you for stopping by, and taking the time to read this. If you are looking for something special, and can’t find it in my shop please let me know. I do take custom orders as time permits.

In addition to my full time job, I have a small farm with Argentinian mini-llama studs. The llamas give me fabulous fiber to work with, and Argentinian are famous for their luxurious fiber.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Money Order
Payment
I like using Paypal. It's easy and convenient, and the items ship as soon as payment is received. It's the no hassle solution for all parties.
I now also offer direct check out, for those not having a Paypal account. This is as easy and quick.

I do also accept Money orders for those that are not comfortable with payments online, at an additional fee of $1 per order. The order will be shipped once money is received, so this option will take awhile.
Shipping
I prefer shipping First Class by the USPS for U.S. buyers, and also international orders. However if you want items shipped by Priority Mail, I'm happy to do so at the additional cost.
My shipping prices reflect the cost of postage and packaging, and is based on First Class mail unless otherwise specified.
I try to use recycled/eco friendly packaging/shipping material as much as possible.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be happy with your purchase. However if a yarn is not what you expected, and you are unhappy with it, please let me know and we can discuss returning the item as long as it is in the same condition as when I sent it, and has not been used.
The cost of shipping the return will be for your account.

For certain handmade items, like sweaters, I'm willing to accept returns if you find that they do not fit, are not used and in same condition as when shipped. The shipping for return will be for your account.
Additional policies and FAQs
All the items and yarns I sell are described to the best of my ability. I try to take pictures to help with description, but with screen resolutions being different, the colors may not always reflect actual colors. It should not however differ much.
I always do my best to make sure every item is of the highest quality possible.
