How it all began......
I fell in love with glass, or more plainly speaking, fell in love with melting glass in 2007. My Mum bought me a hot head torch and my first glass rods because she was fed up with my dreaming of possibilities and so she put the tools in my hands.... and I’ve been dreaming of glass and light, pattern and detail ever since and in 2010 I discovered polymer clay too which for me was the missing piece in my creative jigsaw puzzle
In September 2008 my daughter was born, instead of leaving her and heading back to work as a signaller for the London Underground I beacme at stay at home mum. In 2010 my son was born and soon after I started up in business as Kitzbitz Art Glass Ltd. I now spend my days at home with my children and my evenings as a tame pyromaniac. I love my life with complete passion, mother to my gorgeous children, Ruby and baby Ethan and glass artist by trade.
In March 2011 I began a new craft forum called http://www.craftpimp.co.uk which has a gallery style format and is a place where members can showcase their talent and network with other crafters and artist types.
You can find my handmade lampwork beads and jewellery at http://www.kitzbitz.etsy.com and my new range of bracelet charm beads at http://www.BuzzwordBeads.etsy.com
