FrogPondCreative grew out of FrogPondLane (my first Etsy shop) — a name inspired by a quiet moment and a love of making meaningful things.
The idea began when I noticed a whimsical street sign in rural North Carolina. It stuck with me, especially since my own property is home to several frog ponds, where the evenings are often filled with the sound of frogs. That sense of nature, calm, and creativity became the foundation for everything that followed.
In real life, I’m a dog agility trainer, but I’ve always balanced that work with digital design and illustration. What started as a small creative experiment eventually became FrogPondLane, an Etsy shop that grew into apparel and accessories designed by me. Over time, the shop became home to designs inspired by my main passions — dog sports, cats, nature and wildlife — along with pro-democracy messages that reflect my values.
FrogPondCreative is the digital extension of that work: a place for artwork, papers, journals, and creative designs meant to be used, remixed, and enjoyed by fellow creatives.
