In love with Pottery!
A number of years ago, I discovered a community pottery studio in Beverly, the small city north of Boston where I live. I took a few classes, then through practice began to develop more skill on the potters wheel. Over time, I've developed my style and pieces in my Etsy shop.
Most of the time, I find working with clay a calming and energizing experience. Of course there are brief periods of frustration and disappointment; but putting my hands in the smooth mucky stuff always anchors me in the immediate tactile pleasure again. Like most potters, I keenly anticipate checking the kiln for my pieces. I've put the best of these in my Etsy shop. I hope you purchase some, and enjoy them as much as I've enjoyed creating them!
I ship USPS mail with tracking. I generally wrap each piece in bubble wrap and/or cardboard. As much as is practical, I reuse and recycle the packing materials. I'm happy to provide a free handwritten note if you indicate the purchase is a gift.
