This pattern is so cute and such a creative idea! I already made the top and I'm about halfway through making the shrug, both are explained well and easy to understand. My only issue is that it can be a bit tricky to adjust the sizing so this might not be the most beginner friendly pattern if your not confident in improvising a bit. I made the front of the top taller to give my chest more coverage and had to scale up the back panel of the shrug quite a bit to get ot to fit me, but overall its a great pattern and I would recommend it to pepole who know how to adjust a crochet pattern to better fit your body type.

For the main top it has a typo, “BOL” is meant to be “BLO”, and that acronym is described in the pattern. Absolutely adorable pattern!!
