Our art reflects our love of décor, design, and color. We combine glass, wood, metal, polymer clay, and "second chance" vintage objects to create artwork and home décor that has a message of funk, good mojo, and a bit of good humored laughter.
In 2023, we will have been working together for 23 years and through many ups and downs, laughter, arguments, and just plain silliness, we have cultivated a friendship and a respect for each other beyond mother and daughter.
We have a desire. A desire to create. Call it genetics, call it crazy, call it wonderful. Whatever it is, we've got it...and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Our studio name, Funktini, grew from our love of funky, colorful art relating closely to home decor and design. We believe that functional, everyday objects can be fun, make you smile, and add some style to your already fantastic home decor.
We realize that without someone to purchase our art, our voices cannot be heard. We appreciate each and everyone of you who has supported our art and handmade art everywhere. You are not just buying something to make you happy, you are also making others happy from your purchase.
