FunkyQuailVintage is a business. We run it as such. This is not a hobby for us, so we take each and every customer VERY seriously. However, in the rare instance that there may be a concern, or issue, please CONVO us immediately, and we WILL get back to you promptly! Additionally, to the folks that typically have purchased items on EBAY, CONVERSATIONS and DISCUSSIONS are encouraged by ETSY and our shop! Keep in mind, mistakes can be made, items can be damaged in shipping, and that we sell VINTAGE ITEMS! Vintage by definition means OLDER than 20 years. Please do NOT expect a Vintage item to be brand new, unless otherwise described in that manner! There are buyers out there that PURPOSELY damage items to get a reduction in price, or return an item after wearing it..etc...In addition, there are sellers out there that consistenly mis-represent their products, and there service. We gladly accept paypal. We will consider RESERVING items on a FEEDBACK by FEEDBACK basis. However, we will typically not HOLD the item. We ask that you PURCHASE IT, and we will extend you a few extra days to PAY for the item if necessary! Not paying for an item, will be dealt with very seriously, and negative feedback will be given. Again, it is too bad we even have to discuss this, but NON PAYING buyers have become an issue! Please review the ETSY RULES regarding purchasing an item, and the time frames alloted for payment! THANK YOU!
Shipping
We will gladly ship to international (outside US) destinations! If you are interested in an item and want to know the shippig cost, send us a convo with the item number and we will research it and get back to you. It also HELPS if you send us your POSTAL CODE!!!

Typically, we ship all packages out the following Saturday after the week of purchase. However, due to high volume, we are trying to under promise, and over deliver! Hence, we are attempting to ship out a couple of times per week. If you need something BY A SPECIFIC DATE, please tell us after purchase through an ETSY CONVO, or add it to the NOTES to SELLER! We will do everything in our power to accomdate you!

Inside the US - we have estimated shipping to the best of our ability. Because it is usually zip code based, it is impossible to pre-determine each rate. Therefore, we will refund (via paypal) any amount collected over $1 that exceeds our total shipping cost. We ship to the address listed on your Etsy accout. Please add a note to the seller on your Etsy purchase if you wish for us to use a different address. Also, if we insist that we use a PO box, that MAY cost more than Fed Ex ground, and we will be in touch if the charges exceed those quoted. (this generally is for items exceeding 4 pounds)

Generally (not always) items less than 4 pounds ship USPS and items over 4 pounds ship Fed Ex ground, but this can vary. We have a great shipping store and work with them to find the best way to get you your treasures safe and sound!

USPS Priority does NOT include delivery confirmation or insurance. These expenses are additional costs. Should the customer desire them, please notify us prior to purchase of the item, and we will adjust the total shipping cost. If you have already paid, and we have not yet shipped the item, we can send you a paypal invoice to add these special services.

We pay the standard retail rate, and charge you the amount we pay, plus any boxes, packing materials, etc. We do not mark up shipping! However, our shipper may pay less than he charges, and this might be reflected on your customs form or postage indicia. We are not responsible for this, nor do we have access to the special discounted rates that our shipping store does!

We do out best to reuse packaging materials. In some cases, it is more cost effective for you to purchase a new box (such as in shipping luggage) than to use a much larger, re-used box. Shipping charges are not only by WEIGHT, but by total box VOLUME.

Domestic - Priority mail - when a buyer does not choose to add insurance or delivery confirmation, our responsibility extends only to offering proof of mailing/shipping. The same holds true for any item shipped via the USPS. Adding delivery confirmation and insurance can add a lot of cost to shipping small items so it is your choice on these items. Please ask prior to purchase if you have any questions. Once we ship - it is too late!

Domestic - Fed Ex Ground - If a package is lost or damaged our shipping store, Goin' Postal, will be contacted to work with you to resolve the issue. We will stay involved, but they are the experts!

International - we will so our best to assist you and our shipping service, Goin' Postal, to resolve any issues, but policies and procedues vary by country. In general, there is no insurance or tracking, but some countries are easier to work with than others.
Refunds and Exchanges
Vintage items are considered used. We DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS, but please contact us if there is a problem or concern.

Our liability never extends beyond the actual price paid for the item.

We do our best to describe the condition of each item. If an item appears "new" or "unworn" we will describe it as such, especially if it is still in the original packaging. We grade on a "good" "very good" and "excellent" rating system.

Please ask any questions you have prior to purchase. We are happy to help! If there is ANY DOUBT, please ask us for additional photos! If you dont ask, we assume all to be OK!
