I purchaed this bag to use as a prize as I have several from Sandy and know how great these bags are. The winner LOVES it, but of course I am not surprised. :-)

About

Knitting bags to hold my handknit fingerless gloves and work in progress. All things knitting related.

I recently completed my 1,000th sale, a personal milestone! My customer (I'll call her M), sent me this wonderful message: "I have received the knitting bag. It's a gift for my mom. I love it and I know she will too. It's the perfect size for her to take her knitting projects when she's traveling. It looks like it's very well made!

Thank you so much for the gifts. That is so sweet of you and made my week! Congratulations on your 1,000th sale. This was the first time I've purchased anything through Etsy, and I will definitely look at Funtific items when I shop in the future."

How awesome is it that her 1st purchase turned out to be my 1,000 sale. Totally incredible.

Preserving the old skills is something about which I feel very strongly; and knitting, sewing, and crafts are at the top of my list. Sharing timeless skills with you seems almost mandatory. BTW: Did I mention to teach the youngsters.

Price is no indication of quality. My creations are not made cheap - they're just priced right!

The 'best' is not behind us. The best is making new from the old, but just a bit better than it was before - simply because you made it.

So, now in my retirement, I am doing what I missed most while working for someone else.

And yet another chapter begins. An antique Bisson spinning wheel has moved into my life and I must learn to spin. Although I am a newbie at the art, I love it. Being a novice spinner, it has been recommened that I learn on a modern wheel and then go back to my old beauty. Thus, enters the brand new, fresh-out-of-the-box Louet S10 spinning wheel. Must be true that spinning wheels get lonely and alway develop new side-kicks. Good thing the only thing they consume is my time and lots of rovingt. Hope to be adding handspun yarns to my shop in the near future.

A dear friend has an Etsy shop featuring awesome woodturning skills, spinning items, as well as knitting and crocheting. Give Lillian and Elvis a visit at :

Any questions, please convo me. I love to communicate with all the interesting shoppers and the curious. It always lends a personal touch.

PS: Save the Clotheslines!

Things I like ... no, love (not necessarily in this order): knitting, sewing, Halloween and Christmas, music, the four seasons, warm days and cool nights, pets and wild animals, doing the right thing, my antique spinning wheel, friends and family ... to be continued ...
