About

Support My Crafting

As I wrote above, I have crafted and sewn for many years. With the addition of my sewing/embroidery machine and Etsy, I have found an outlet for my creativity.

Who I am influences what I sell. If you don't see a lot of orange, it is because orange isn't one of my favorite colors. What I like influences what I make.

I like cats and dogs, and pink and blue so you'll see those things or colors in my shop. The fabrics I choose are also what appeal to me although if a customer wants something in orange, well, I can deal with that.

A number of articles in the shop reflect my Jewish background. Many of my Jewish friends have towels I have given them as gifts.

I started making myself tote bags before it was required to pay a tax on using plastic bags locally. I especially enjoy making the inside pretty enough that the bag is reversible.

Similarly, I make the backs of my runners and mug rugs out of pretty fabrics so they maybe flipped over.

I'm semi-reitred. I tutor math occasionaly, I am active in my synagogue (ergo the Judaica) and in Scouting. I learned to sew when I was girl. My mother always knitted and my father was an amazing cabinet make. So I guess crafting was in the blood
