Welcome to Gilda's Closet! My goal is to be sure that you are as happy with my treasures as I was. Please if you have a concern let me know as I have no problem with refunds should I somehow have mistakenly misrepresented an item. While I certainly try to do my best to describe things as accurately as possible I may slip up and if so, willingly would want to make it right. I would be the first to admit that I am not the most detail oriented person and sadly have bought things for myself only later to find there were problems that I had missed. When selling I do try to scrutinize all items carefully but should I miss something please let me know for a full refund. I only recently saw my first negative feedback about an item smelling and I was horrified-- I honestly don't know how I or the model could have missed something like that but would certainly have given a full refund if the buyer had only contacted me. I am also a buyer so I know that end of the exchange also and my only goal is for everyone to be happy. So please don't hesitate to contact me should you have any problems. Life is too short to be unhappy! Thanks to you all. Also, I usually mail things out within a couple of days and I always send a note of thanks with info about when I will post. I almost always send priority so there is tracking. I don't always get in to Etsy to mark shipped and post tracking # but I keep all PO receipts for domestic mailings a month. If you do not receive your item within a week please contact me so we can see what is going on. Thanks again!
Payment is due within 2 days of purchase unless other arrangements have been made. International buyers will need to contact me for shipping information. Also contact me regarding layaway arrangments.
I do not insure unless you ask. I usually send things priority mail or 1st class. If you want something insured, just let me know. I also ship internationally but unless you want it registered (an additional 11.25) there is no way it can be insured unless sent Express mail which is so expensive I cannot imagine anyone paying for that! I will always have proof of mailing at my end but unless you request special services, I cannot guarantee the USPS. Having said that, I have never had anyone not get their item. I am more than willing to ship internationally, just contact me for shipping costs.
