GRABelle Studio — Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how and when GRABelle Studio ("I", "we") collects, uses, and shares your information when you purchase an item from our Etsy shop, contact us, or otherwise use our services through Etsy.com and its related services.
This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including Etsy and Canva. You can reference the Etsy Privacy Policy to learn more about how Etsy handles your information.
1. Information we collect
To fulfil your order, you provide us (via Etsy) with certain information, such as:
Your name and Etsy username
Your email address
Details of the product you ordered
The contents of any message you send us (for example, customization questions)
Because our products are digital downloads, we do not require or store your postal address or payment details. All payments are processed by Etsy Payments — we never see your card information.
2. Why we need your information and how we use it
We rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
As needed to provide our services, such as when we use your information to fulfil your order, settle disputes, or provide customer support;
When you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time;
If necessary to comply with a legal obligation, such as retaining information about your purchase where required by tax law;
As necessary for our legitimate interests, such as improving our products and services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
We do not use your information for marketing purposes without your consent, and we never sell your personal information to anyone.
3. Information sharing and disclosure
Information about our customers is important to our business. We share your personal information only for very limited reasons:
Etsy. We share information with Etsy as necessary to provide our services and comply with our obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
Service providers. Our templates are delivered as links to Canva. When you open a template link, your use of Canva is governed by Canva’s own privacy policy.
Compliance with laws. We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we have a good-faith belief it is reasonably necessary to respond to legal process, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers or others.
4. Data retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in this policy. We may also be required to retain this information to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We generally keep order-related data for 10 years, in line with Swiss commercial record-keeping requirements.
5. Transfers of personal information outside the EU and Switzerland
We are based in Switzerland. We may store and process your information through third-party hosting services (such as Etsy and Canva) in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, we may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. Where such transfers occur, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Your rights
If you reside in the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information:
Access. You may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction. You may ask us to correct or complete inaccurate information.
Deletion. You may ask us to delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal reasons (e.g., tax records).
Objection and restriction. You may object to or ask us to restrict our processing of your information based on our legitimate interests.
Complaint. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Switzerland, the FDPIC).
7. How to contact us
For purposes of EU and Swiss data protection law, María Arévalo, GRABelle Studio, Zurich, Switzerland, is the data controller of your personal information. If you have any questions or concerns, or wish to exercise any of your rights, contact us via Etsy Messages or at support@thr9ve.com.
