This is just the sweetest little toy ever. My sons love it--it is the perfect size and so squishy and huggable. The communication was great and the shipping was fast. I am going to order a second one.

About

From Hobby to Habit!!!

I learned to knit from my Nana (grandma) when I was about 7 or 8 years old... young enough to still think Barbies were cool, as I would knit them blankets for their beds!

From there, I learned slippers and mittens but still only knit a couple things a year.

I guess it was during university that it became more of a hobby. I would knit whenever I was waiting for a class to start or on a bus or watching TV.

From there it became a HABIT!

I started to knit WHILE doing other things. I can't imagine simply sitting still and watching TV or a movie. No no, my friend, this is valuable knitting time! Taking public transportation is not only helping the environment, I've got more knitting time! With the invention of e-readers, I can even knit while reading a book!

Whether it's paired with TV, movies, staff meetings, coffee with a friend, or family picnics, I've learned to knit and purl without ever looking down. I can cable while still carrying on conversation!

In September of 2011, I also taught myself to crochet, and although it felt like cheating on knitting, it happened. ;)

After making several gifts for friends and family, I had an overwhelming response and several requests to start selling my work... so here we are!

Okay, so I'm many many years from "Grandma" status, however, was called "Grandma Swills" by a bunch of my university friends, as I always had a pair of needles in my hands!
