A Wider Audience

What I like best about Etsy is the sense of being a part of a community of people who value quality and originality. Since starting my shop in 2009 I have gained collectors in Canada, England, and Australia, as well as across the United States. I am happy to work with collectors from around the world to make the shipping affordable.

Welcome to my gallery of paintings! Most of my work is inspired by certain visual experiences - light, color, space, pattern, and juxtapositions of shapes and forms. Sometimes a subject can be as mundane as a box on a table, other times fanciful, such as a rainbow over a landscape. I always think of the overall composition as pertaining to the meaning of the painting, and mix all my colors from the primaries (red, blue, yellow) and white.

Returns and exchange details
I understand that purchasing artwork without seeing it first can be a risky venture. Therefor, within the first week (5 business days) of receiving your painting you may return it to me for a full refund if it does not meet your expectations (minus the percentage that Etsy and other third parties like paypal charge in commission fees, otherwise I would be taking a loss). Buyer must pay for return shipping, including insurance, and I cannot refund your shipping fee. After the first week, I will accept a painting back in exchange for a painting of equal or lesser value up until 14 days after the purchase. Should you wish to see additional photos and views of a specific painting, please contact me.
Payment
I accept Square, Paypal, Etsy Gift Cards, and direct Etsy transactions. If you would like to pay with a different method, please contact me.
Shipping
I generally use Fedex Ground for all packages. Prices listed are for shipping within the United States only. International shipping is available. Please contact me so that I can calculate the proper amount to charge based on your location.
Additional policies and FAQs
Every effort is made to represent my paintings faithfully, but please be aware that each computer monitor shows color a little differently, and digital images are back-lit, whereas an actual painting reflects light from the surface. The colors in your painting will most likely look a little different from the image on your monitor.

A handmade work of art will always have small imperfections. The surface of the painting will vary, and you will notice brushstrokes and texture differences. This is an important part of an original piece of art.

The paintings are not framed or wired. I simply hang them from two level nails or screws, which keeps them flush to the wall.

By default I leave the sides of my painting plain canvas because I prefer the simple aesthetic of it, and it shows the painting process. I am happy to paint the sides of your painting if you prefer it that way.
