Affordable Art

In November, 2018, we started our new enterprise. Two women from Brazil, that ended up meeting each other in Berlin and discovered that they had much more in common than the simple fact that they were born in the same country - the passion for art, the passion for colors. Form this encounter, Galeria Canoa was born. Martha Mendes and Lucila Vieira are the heart of this enterprise which main focus is to bring Brazilian artist to the European market.

    Owner, Curator, Artist

    Martha was born in Brazil, studied Mechanical Engineer and had a successful career in the financial market. She moved to Berlin and has been working with visual arts and design. Her goal ha is to present Brazilian art and culture to the world.

  • Lucila Vieira

    Curator, Owner, Artist

    Lucila was born in Brazil and studied Economics and Industrial Design. She also have a degree in Fine Arts at the London Institute of Arts. She works as a gallerist, curator and manager of artists. Her ideal: art as a way for a better world.
