What a very beautiful necklace. So well made and the stones match so perfectly. Words cannot describe how the sun dances on the facets of the iolite stones. This is a necklace that I will be enjoying for a very long time to come!!

All of my jewelry is handmade by me in New York City, using components I have purchased from reputable suppliers and collected over the years. I enjoy using natural gemstones and unusual materials, such as undyed coral and vintage items, to create unique pieces with lasting value and appeal.

All of my jewelry is made of precious and semiprecious stones, metals, and vintage millefiore trade beads. All metals used are sterling silver, vermeil (18k gold over sterlign silver), 14k gold fill, or carat (solid) gold (carat will be stated in the description).

I photograph all of the pieces myself and aim to describe the pieces very accurately. I understand that it is difficult to gauge the scale of jewelry over the Internet, so I often include a photograph of a piece in my hand for that purpose.

Accepted payment methods

  • Money Order
Returns and exchanges
It is very important to me that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. I want you to LOVE your jewelry and, if for *any* reason you want to return your item, you may do so within 7 days of receipt. Please notify me if you are returning your order before mailing it. You will receive a full refund, via PayPal, for any return in original and unused condition. Buyers are responsible for return postage, including delivery confirmation and insurance for pieces over $50. (Please note that a refund will be issued only after the item has been received by me.)
Payments: I accept Paypal (you can pay with a credit card using Paypal without opening an etsy account), money orders and checks. I wait for *all* types of payments to clear before shipping *any* items (personal checks usually take about 10 days to clear a bank, E-checks may take about 1 week to clear PayPal, and standard PayPal payments can take longer than expected during the Winter Holidays.)

Layaway: I offer Layaway, determined on a case-by-case basis (please contact me regarding a particular item to work out an arrangement).

NY Sales Tax: Kindly note that New York Customers will be charged a sales tax rate of 8.375%. This will be added automatically to your PayPal invoice.
All customers receive a confirmation e-mail acknowledging payment has been received and giving an estimate as to the shipping date. Packages are usually mailed within 2 business days of your order. I do *not* ship on weekends, so orders placed on a Friday (or over the weekend) will be shipped on a Monday and will therefore take a little longer to arrive.

Most packages are shipped via USPS, with delivery confirmation and, for pieces over $75, insurance is included in shipping.

Please note that my shipping costs reflect the high rates being charged by the US Post Office (insurance can add quite a lot to shipping costs, etc.).

I can ship to many countries outside the USA, including Canada and the UK. Please contact me to get a price and time estimate for shipping to your destination.
BUYERS are responsible for any and all customs fees or duties imposed by their home country. The actual retail price of the item will be listed on the customs form, in accordance with US law.
Additional policies and FAQs
My items (and packaging) are from a smoke-free, pet-free home.

I try to recycle packaging materials, such as bubble wrap and tissue paper, so please don't be surprised if you find tissue paper from a different shop as outer wrapping, or perhaps a copy of today's newspaper as padding material in my packaging :)
