Absolutely beautiful bowl!! Perfect size, as described. Much lighter than the item pictured, but handmade and one of a kind so understandably no two are the same. Very satisfied and highly recommended, thank you so much for this lovely piece Anna.
Gammel House Pottery - Live Life Beautifully with Handmade Pottery
The Gammel House was opened in 1997 in a small house. I used to make pottery in the kitchen, sell it in the living room and fired everything at home. 2000 brought an attached studio that tripled the size of the old house and provided a wonderful place to work along with increasing the retail area. Making pottery has been a full time job for many years now. We enjoy selling our work on line as well as participating in several shows.
Gammel House pottery is not only beautiful it is very functional. From the table top to the dishwasher it will do it all in style. Don't forget that you can use our pottery in the oven too. No more transferring dishes. Once you have used quality stoneware nothing compares. We also do wedding registries which are a great way to get something unique, useful and handmade.
It takes a team to make it work and I have been blessed to have had really great staff along the way. All of the Gammel House Girls look forward to helping you start your Gammel House Pottery collection.

If need be we are able to process Visa and Master Card by phone. If you would like to pay by money order or cheque you may do so and your purchase will be ship after receipt and clearing.
If a transaction hasn't been paid within 3 days, the order will be canceled.
Canadian Residents must pay GST and this will be automatically calculated and applied.
Purchase Cancellations - If for some reason you would like to cancel your purchase, please do so within 24 hours. Irrecoverable fees and charges may result in a partial refund.
USA - We ship through Canada Post expedited which in turn will go though USPS. Delivery time should be 7 to 10 days from shipping day depending on Customs,.
Canada: - We ship Canada Post expedited; 2-3 days non guaranteed delivery within Canada.
International: - We ship Canada Post Parcel Service and delivery time will depend on where you are located. We will give you an estimated time of delivery from the parcel service after we post your order. Any customs or duties charges are your responsibility. For international orders we will get a quote for shipping so convo us as to what you would like and we will figure the rest out :)
Ship To Address: I will ship to your etsy address, unless you would like me to ship it to a different one. If you do, please notify me in "message to seller" or send me an email. The shipping address on your order and in PayPal must be correct. Discrepancies will result in delayed shipping while we attempt to contact you for clarification.
Shipping Invoice/Gift Cards: Please state No Invoice or Gift Card (include personal sentiment)in the Notes section of your order form. An invoice is included in every shipment unless instructed otherwise.
Returned Shipments: All packages return for failure by the shipping authorities will result in delays. Added costs associated with reshipping are the responsibility of the buyer.
Packaging Material: We take special care to ensure every package is sure to arrive safely. All of our work is vac-u-packed and shipped in sturdy boxes ensuring your treasures will arrive safe and sound the way you expect. Our shipping method is detailed oriented and although it requires more costly materials it is well worth the success it achieves
If your item is made to order...or a custom order, please allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery.
Refunds and Exchanges
We take pride in making sure our customers are happy with their purchase.
Quality Issues: We take pride in our quality. If a quality problem has slipped our attention, please contact us. We will do everything possible to exchange your merchandise and ensure your purchasing experience is a positive one
Damaged Shipments: Although very rare, damage can happen during shipment. If your item arrives damaged please contact me immediately (within 3 days of receipt). We will reproduce and replace the damaged item upon receiving the damaged merchandise back in our shop. Please allow approximately 4 weeks to replace your item. We will need to see photo documentation of the damage along with the box it arrived in.
Returns: If the item arrives and is not as described in the item description or you simply would like to return it, you may return it for a full refund (not including shipping charges) or exchanged for something else within 30 days. Being a handmade item there will be slight variations in size and color and this must be taken into account.
In the case of all returns you will be responsible for return shipping charges. Please return in original package as to keep the pottery protected. Please purchase insurance for returns. Your money will be refunded once the piece safely arrives.
Lost Shipments: Please contact us as soon as possible to work out suitable arrangements.
Exchanges: Please contact us to work out the details of all exchanges. We will work with you to make the purchase a rewarding experience for both the buyer and seller.
All custom and special orders will not be subject to the return or exchange policy.

I add my customers to our e-newsletter. We send out 3 a year along with a special of the month. Should you not want to be added to the newsletter just let me know in the special notes when you purchase. As well there is an easy to use unsubscribe button with each newsletter. Thanks!

Our pottery is handcrafted from high quality stoneware clay's and finished with lead free and food safe glazes.
How to care for Stoneware/Pottery:
Our functional stoneware pottery can withstand normal everyday use and will provide you with years of service and pleasure if you follow a few basic rules.
* It is microwave * dishwasher * oven safe.
As with any fine ceramic, stoneware will not wish stand the shock of sudden temperature changes (thermal shock) and the following recommendations apply:
- The stoneware should be at room temperature before adding hot foods.
- Do not put cold foods into a preheated or hot to the touch stoneware pot.
- Do not take your pottery from the freezer or fridge to a hot oven
- While in the oven be sure the bottom surface is fully covered to promote and maintain an even heat
-To wash your stoneware right after cooking, use hot water. Do not pour cold water into a hot stoneware pot.
- To best preserve your fine stoneware, wash by hand and do not subject unglazed surfaces to soaking.
Gift Giving and Gift Cards: We will ship direct to a gift recipient upon request. We will include a gift card upon request. Please use the Notes to area of the order form to provide your personal sentiment. An invoice will not be included upon request.
