Gan Aegla (more commonly spelled Gan Eagla) means "Fearless" in Irish Gaelic. Our family motto is Gan Aegla, Gan Cheist, which translates into "No Fear, No Reservation." From our first days as a family in 2011, this has been our approach to life, and it continues to this day. Gan Aegla, as a business, has been around since 2017. We started with greeting cards, then transitioned to bath and body products as our primary products. Now, our products include many crafty items, such as resin jewelry and trinkets (under the brand Grandma Feather's Creations), and both physical and digital stickers (under either Heather & Hyacinth or Blarney Dreams, depending on who designs them).

In addition to all of that, Vern and Heather also teach preschool in their home. The philosophy of play and freedom that they utilize probably influences much of what they do in their "off" time, too. Vern is also a fantasy fiction author (under the pseudonym Vernest Charles). Their teenage son, Joshua, is also getting into the family business frenzy, and when he finally settles on a product line, we'll get to producing those too.
