About

Handmade Glass Art + Japanese Zakka + Love + Koren = Garasu Wonderland

I love creating glass art and enjoy every moment of it: designing patterns, experimenting techniques, blending paints and painting on glass. I love tiny details and work with really small things to achieve different fascinating effects and patterns. These are the basics for my glass painting journeys. I hand paint each glass individually to make it an unique piece of work, and each painting process is also a happy creative journey for me.

My artwork is inspired by nature and the beauty around us. "Zakka 雑貨" is a Japanese design aesthetic that refers to little decorative accessories that improve our home or life. I love zakka and create zakka style glass art: home accessories that is unique and lovely, the sort of home décor that would make people feel warm inside.

With encouragement from my beloved family and friends, I opened my Etsy shop in 2014. I feel the sheer pleasure in sharing my works with people who are interested in original handmade glass glass. I feel strong affection for my glass paintings and I am thrilled to receive each purchase order. I put a lot of love and care into each one I made: handpick fine quality glass materials and paints; made to order especially for that customer; hand paint each glass to make every item one of a kind; and gift wrap the glass for delivery.

I hope my work, whether it is personal use or gift, will bring happiness to others. Thank you for visiting my shop (。◕‿◕。)

I am glad you've stopped by my glass collection. "Garasu" means glass in Japanese and my shop is all about hand painted glass wonders.

I am passionate about glass and I put a lot of love and care into the glass I made. My artwork is inspired by nature and the beauty around us. All items are created by me. No two pieces are alike as I hand paint each glass individually to make every item one of a kind. Every glass I create is made to order especially for you, making it uniquely yours.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me at any time (^-^)

Returns and exchanges
I do my best so that you will be happy with your handmade glass and enjoy them, but in the unlikely event that you want to return them, please contact me within 5 days of receiving it. The only exception is custom order which is not returnable. No questions asked and no hard feelings.

Maximum compensation for Singapore Registered Mail is S$68.00 or declared value of the content, whichever is lower. Additional policies and FAQs
✿ Gift giving ✿
If the glass is a gift, I can send it directly to the recipient with complimentary gift wrapping. It will be packed into a sturdy cardboard box with bubble wrap for safe delivery. Please let me know recipient's address when you place the order.

✿ Custom order ✿
Custom order is welcome. If you like the item in different colours or want a custom order from my private gallery designs, please let me know and I will see how it can be done.

✿ Beauty of handmade: uniqueness in each glass ✿
I enjoy experimenting with colors, textures and techniques and develop my own unique painting techniques. I always blend different glass paints to get the desired tone and feel for each design. All my glass is hand painted individually, so each piece is an unique artwork. I do make every attempt to ensure the online catalog as accurate and complete as possible, though each glass may have subtle differences. Because my glass works are made by hand, slight imperfections may be noticed, but this is just the beauty of handmade - it was made by warm hands, not mass produced by machine (o^-^o)
