Announcement
Garden Party Fibers, YARN, handspun by me with local Pacific NW grown fibers. I have been selling my handspun yarns since 1993. All the yarns, hats and shawls, I have listed are in stock and ready for immediate shipping.
Every day I am washing, dyeing fleeces and spinning more yarn, creating new yarn colorways. Textured, bulky, rustic colorful YARN is great for gifts or a treat to yourself!
Thank you for continuously supporting my passion, hand spinning yarn, which in turn, helps supports local Pacific North West sheep growers.
Juaquetta
The wool, mohair and alpaca I use is grown on locally raised sheep, goats and alpaca, right here in the Pacific Northwest. I buy the softest fibers, wash, dye, prepare and spin on my Louet wheel. This art yarn is soft, colorful and primitive.
All my yarns come in big 90 yard skeins, perfect for making a scarf, mitts or hat. My patterns using size 17 needles or Q hook to create a quick easy to wear warm garment. Request a free pattern when ordering.
We have a smoke free home. Our kitties are not interested in fibers, so your yarn is mostly cat free.
I have been spinning and selling these handspun yarns since the early 1990's. When we lived in Minnesota I was a vendor at the Shepherds Harvest, Yarn Over and with the Lamb and Wool Producers at the Minnesota State Fair. We moved to the Spokane WA area in '05. Here I sell my yarns at the Kootenai County Farmers Market in Coeurd'alene Idaho, May thru October. Various art festivals in the area: The Farm Chicks, Custer Holiday and Spring Art shows, check my BF or Instagram to see where i will be next.
Thanks for looking. JQ

5 out of 5 starsWow. This yarn is even more beautiful than I imagined. I love the natural rich brown tones, and it is soft and squishy beyond belief. It arrived with the sweetest hand-written note. Thank you Juaquetta! I can't wait to knit it up into something cozy!
