Welcome to GardenSpring. This shop started as a handmade shop for knit and crocheted items. While we still sell handmade and self-designed knit/crochet items, we also sell a selection of retro and vintage items, such as collectibles, furniture, china and restaurant ware. We sell anything that we love ourselves.

Payment
We accept PayPal and use Etsy's direct checkout system.
Shipping
Shipping of your order occurs within 1-3 days of the order. We ship USPS Priority Mail so that delivery confirmation and insurance is included. We do not ship First Class as insurance and tracking usually has to be purchased separately and Priority is quicker without charging extra for those perks. Any item over $50.00 receives a increase in insurance coverage on us. Shipping of large items, such as furniture, typically takes place through Greyhound service. The shipping of furniture is usually estimated at 1-4 days to allow for transport to the carrier and packing of a large item.

Delivery can be arranged on large items, such as furniture, only. Areas that may be considered for delivery of large items include Kentucky, Southern Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, and some parts of Tennessee. Deliveries will be charged a fee depending on location and delivery may need to arranged at a central location or public place if your exact location is not easily found. Please contact us with questions about possible delivery.
Refunds and Exchanges
All packages are insured, so if there is breakage or damage during the delivery process, you will be able to take your package (in the original packaging) to the post office to file a claim. The post office requires that the person who received the package be responsible for taking the item in the original packaging to the post office. The seller cannot show proof of damage for the buyer and file a claim. That is USPS Post Office policy...not a shop policy. Sorry for that inconvenience. If our shop makes a mistake, such as sending you the incorrect item, we will pay for return of the incorrect item and refund the full amount....this has never happened.:)

Refunds must be requested with 3 days of receipt with valid reason and the item must be shipped back within 7 days. Delivery confirmation is required on returns. If a returned item is received in damaged condition from the buyer or from the shipping process, the return will not be processed. The item must be returned in the condition it was originally received. Insurance is suggested for returns to cover damage that may be caused by the postal service. Using USPS Priority Mail will cover both of those requirements.

We will not accept returns on items that have been used or kept for an excessive amount of time (indicating use). As stated above, you should notify the shop within 3 days and have the item shipped back within 7. There are no returns on knit or crocheted items as these are subject to soiling and damage. These items are made upon order and considered custom items. There are no returns on custom made items.
