Announcement   JEWELRY20 for 20% off jewelry only

For most of my adult life I worked 8-5, trying to squeeze in time for my hobbies. When I lost my job in 2008, I began to think more and more about the possibility of making my hobbies into a career. I originally began making greeting cards more than 20 years ago. Then, I discovered glass and cement and absolutely fell in love with both. However, they aren't the easiest items to ship. And, with all the new techniques and equipment available, I have fallen in love again with paper and cards. As a professionally trained gardener, I press flowers, preserve and arrange them, collect seed, and find many other ways to use them, and they work well on my cards. I began to collect beads along with tools, wire and books, not to make jewelry, but something better suited to my background and imagination. I also began taking photographs, and took lessons from my aunt, a professional digital photographer, so I'll attempt to combine all of my loves into a business that I hope you will enjoy as much as I do. Welcome to my shop!

I looked everywhere for grey raffia and this was exactly what I wanted. It looks so great with my wedding decor, shipped quickly, and was packaged nicely. The item was exactly as described in the listing. I would most definitely order again from this shop!

About

Turning Hobbies into a Perfect Career

I began making greeting cards over 20 years ago and began this shop creating cards and garden art. After a short time on Etsy, one of the vendors suggested that I stock supplies since I was so familiar with them - something I had never considered. Now, I provide materials and information to other crafters and assist brides, hostesses of showers and parties, school teachers and many others to purchase the perfect items for their events and personalities. And when time permits, I work with paper, spend as much time in my gardens as possible, and I've begun to collect beads and findings, not to make jewelry, but something better suited to my background and imagination. I also began taking photographs, so my goal is to combine all of these loves into a business I hope you will enjoy as much as I do. Welcome to my shop!

Payment
I accept PayPal and Etsy's new direct credit card payments. Both are safe and reliable methods for both buyer and seller.

I would be happy to work with you if you'd like to make partial payments. I can arrange lay-a-way payments, but will need to include any Etsy re-listing charges and PayPal/Etsy sale percentages dependent upon the number of relistings necessary to complete an order. Payments may also include changes to shipping charges.

Custom listings will only be held 72 hours unless prior permission is obtained. After 72 hours, the order will be cancelled and held items will be incorporated back into inventory.

Sales to customers in Wisconsin will be charged sales tax.
Shipping
I do ship internationally - please ask about before placing your order.

I ship USPS first class in 2-4 days (faster if possible) following receipt of payment. I combine items to save you shipping charges. If a domestic, packed item is over 13 oz., I ship first class, but always check with the customer if they need a faster delivery. In many cases a priority flat rate charge is less expensive and faster (2-3 days) than first class, but I will check with the customer. I choose the least expensive international shipping rate when a choice has to be made, unless the customer has already requested a faster delivery.

If you place more than one order, or place an additional order within 2 days, please convo me so I can combine the items if the first has not yet shipped. Otherwise, it will be treated as a separate order and shipping will be charged separately. There will not be a refund on the additional shipping. If your second order is placed within a 24 hour period, I will combine the orders and refund any shipping charges above $.50.

All shipments are made in good faith that they will arrive at your destination. A change made in shipping destination should be registered with Etsy as an additional destination. Should your order be lost by the post office, I will gladly refund the price of the item, but the shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. If you want an item insured, please inform me at the time of your purchase.

International customers - please convo me prior to ordering so I can calculate postage. You will not normally see anything but a US shipping charge on the item -- there are simply too many destinations to include in a listing. Customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Should a customer change his/her mind after receipt of an item (which remains in an undamaged/unused condition), the customer may return the item for an exchange, with shipping charges being the responsibility of the customer, both for return of the item, and the reshipment of the new item. This exchange must be requested and the item received by the shop no later than two (2) weeks after the original shipment date.
Refunds and Exchanges
If for some reason you are unhappy with an item you purchased, please contact me within three days of receipt and I will do my best to resolve your concerns.

Returned items must be in original condition, unused and original packaging for a refund. Customer pays all associated shipping charges.
