Announcement   Howdy folks! Here at Garrett Art Design I am so proud to be able to create some inspirational posters, while I also am going to be adding some wonderful photographs to choose from. I used to have my sewing as well, but had to put that on hold for the time being due to a situation beyond my control.

I am struggling with Esophageal and Stage 4 Cancer, plus other health issues, but not letting any of them stop me! As I fight this Cancer, I am and have been creating Crocheted Mufflers, Blankets, and Shawls for other folks who also suffer with 'life threatening diseases', and as well Children who also have 'life threatening diseases', and as well, who are victims of abuse of one kind or another and are trying to cope, as well as get their lives back in order. I used to buy my yarns at shops like JoAnn Fabrics, WalMart, and Hancock Fabrics, but it gets expensive and am now open to donations of gift cards that are purchased at the above mentioned stores so that I can continue with what I do and also love, while also giving those other folks and children a lift' when I give them something I crocheted!

Why am I asking for donations now, you may ask?! Well, I am currently on SSI and the government does not allow anyone to earn any extra money or it gets deducted from their monthly pay, so I can not ask for any money, while if I make any sales, the money comes out of my SSI, which sucks BIG TIME! I will continue with my crocheted projects while name tags that I created will include a way of contact and also asking for any donations to help me continue doing this for other folks and children.

I will always enjoy what I do and thank you for checking my shop out <^..^>

Howdy! I'm Steve and I welcome you to my store. I'm a Cowboy and most often wear Jeans, Caps, Western Shirts, and Boots. If you've seen my store, you know that I am quite talented! I just recently published my first book which is a Fictional - Historical Romance, and am working on other books that as they are finished, will be published and promoted through here as well as the publishing company's website. I am very excited and happy to be able to publish them, plus I also write a wide variety or genre's which include but are not limited to: Historical Romance; Romance; Westerns; Every Day Life (True Stories); Sci-fi; Fantasy; Supernatural; Self-Help; and much more!

When you order from me, I guarantee that as soon as I receive your order, whether it be for a stock item that's in the shop, or something custom made, I will make sure that it gets to you in a timely manner, which generally will be within a week.

If it's anything on a CD or DVD, that takes a bit longer depending on how busy I am and how many orders I've accumulated, but I generally give my customers a general idea as to when they may expect delivery or when I'm able to get started. Most times though it will only be a matter of a week after I receive all the items for the project.

My main goals currently are to have my own full-production digital studios with a home on at least 40 acres of land. About 15 acres of land will be devoted to the studios and western back-lot, while the rest of the land will be devoted to animals, plants, and a place large enough where other folks like myself could come to live, something like a commune or working ranch with Cowboys living on the property. I also think how nice it would be in this area to have a home were abused teenagers and also those who are GLBTQ could come to live.

When I do my photography, I prefer from just before sunrise to the sunrise itself, and also just as the sun's starting to set, until it's out of sight! Crisp mornings are the best since all the dust and any possible smoke from the day before has settled giving the photographs and digital footage a much cleaner look! When shooting during the day, which I really try not to, there's so much dust and smoke in the air that you're not always going to get a good shot, especially if it's a distant shot or outdoor shot where you're capturing any amount of the background or sky!

I enjoy country music and play the Autoharp, while I also use to have and play a banjo, fiddle, and piano-accordion. I'd like as well to get and learn the Dobro, Pedal Steel Guitar, Hammer Dulcimer, and Mandolin.

I enjoy a good Rodeo as well and use to ride as well as help out before and after the events, and Rodeo itself. For me, they're a lot of fun, while also being a lot of work, but very rewarding when I think about all the friends I've made over the years!

I really want to take the time to thank all you folks who meandered by to browse or shop and I hope you have a wonderful shopping experience, plus come back again!
:-) I'm always open, 24/7/365. :-)

Accepted payment methods

  • Money Order
Payment
Other than credit cards through PayPal, I do accept Money Orders and Certified Checks. If you're a resident in Los Angeles County, you do realize that taxes may go up, but for now we're still at 8.25%. I also wait until I have the funds before I fill any orders, so that's why I don't take personal checks as they take up to 14 days with some banks to clear.
Shipping
If not previously requested or emailed, I will send the best way, which could be either USPS and could take quite a while; or UPS, which could be a matter of a week depending on where you're located. I do notify you by either email or a phone call to let you know when your parcel is on its way.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom Orders are MOST WELCOME with me! I'm also willing to do wholesale, but since I am but one person (guy), and I don't own a sweat shop, it will take a while to fill the larger orders.
