Garrett Hand Lettering began in 2016 with a simple curiosity about modern calligraphy. As I practiced, a friend saw some of my lettering and asked if I would create greeting cards she could purchase. That conversation became the beginning of Garrett Hand Lettering.
Over the years, my creative style has grown to include touches of watercolor, hand-drawn artwork, typography, photography, and digital design. While my techniques have evolved, one thing has never changed: my desire to create cards that help people express what matters most.
Many of the designs in my shop began as cards for people in my own life. I created them to thank teachers and church small group leaders who invested in my children, to encourage friends, to comfort grieving families, and to celebrate life’s happiest milestones. They were inspired by real people.
I believe the most meaningful words in any greeting card are the ones you write yourself. That’s why the cards I create are simply stated on the outside and left blank inside—to give you the space to share your own heartfelt message. After all, your words are the ones your recipient will treasure most.
Every card is an original design and is printed on premium high quality paper.
