Welcome to GaslightEmporium, your stop for one-of-a-kind Victorian clothing and accessories!

All of my work is based on repurposed clothing that I have found at the local thrift store. I buy with projects in mind! When possible, I have washed or dry cleaned the material (some is fragile enough that I have simply freshened it). Then I begin turning it into the project I pictured when I saw it. Often this involves putting multiple pieces together or resewing and embellishing. When machine sewing will interfere with the structure of the clothes, I hand-sew and hand-embellish. I love my work and take pride in the level of detail you can find in my clothing.

One of my favorite things about steampunk and Victorian gothic fashion is the freedom I have to employ my imagination and use anything that catches my fancy. I love seeing the potential in thrift store finds and bringing that creative vision to life.

    Accepted payment methods

Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
    Returns and exchanges
If you receive an item and it is not satisfactory in some way, I will give you a full refund. To receive your refund, please ship me back the item. I cannot cover your return shipping costs, and you are only eligible for a full refund if the item returns in the same condition that you received it.
    Payment
I accept payment through PayPal and direct checkout. I also accept direct PayPal transactions. If you are paying me directly through PayPal (not through Etsy), message me and we will set up the payment. In the case of direct PayPal payments, I will ship your item when I receive your money.
    Shipping
I try to get purchases shipped within three business days of the purchase. I ship parcel post or the least expensive shipping option. If you would like a shipping upgrade, please message me and I will set up a custom order for you that includes the extra costs.

I purchase insurance for all US orders. If your item is lost, I will use the insurance to either replace it or give you a full refund. I do not include delivery confirmation unless requested. I do gladly ship internationally, but I can't purchase insurance for international orders.
    Additional policies and FAQs
Each item is absolutely unique and cannot be replicated in a different size. HOWEVER, if there is an item you love that is not in your size and you are willing to wait a month or so, I will begin looking for supplies to create something with a similar feel in your size. You are not obligated to purchase said item.
