Wow, is this ever a treasure! These books arrived in a timely manner and are as described--in very nice condition, softened by use. I repaired ALL the very few, minor, loose places with a few drops of glue in less than a half-hour, and now they're all fine. Pogo is one of the most well-respected comic strips EVER, as well as one of the best-drawn--you can laugh just by looking at these animals' expressions and antics. All these volumes belonged to one person who obviously loved Pogo and no doubt laughed herself silly over the years. That's what I see when I look at this stack. And as I read I "hear" a friend laughing with me. And because of that, I would rather have these books than new ones at half the price--and that's what vintage is all about--for me, anyway. VERY happy with the purchase, and Thank You!
