And as soon as they started dreaming, the Gatofante materialized in the room.

The idea of Gatofante was born while dreaming in a terrace on a summer morning. While looking at the garden below, we spotted several domestic cats. Different colors, different behaviors… but all of them HUGE! Were they just cats? Or cream stripped elephants? Or maybe both? Gatofantes (Spanish for Cat + Elephant) had just been cataloged as a new species running around our dreamland. And if such a thing was possible… what wasn’t?

We are two sisters who have always been into handcrafting objects as a form of art, letting our imagination fly in order to create something unique. But life is not always simple, and we ended up living more than 2000 km apart from each other. Anyway, thanks to the internet, we can work together on creating things that inspire us. And even better, things that inspire you. We believe in making the world a better place by helping people smile. Cause in the end, it is the small things that matter.

You can find here some of our creations, but we encourage you to ask us for custom versions of our products that just fit you. Gatofante targets everybody, but specially those who value unique creations made out of fun and love.

If you really want to make us smile back, we enjoy nothing better than seeing pictures of how you use our art. It’s really rewarding feeling we contributed a bit to other people’s happiness! Also, let us know what you think about our products and how we can improve. Contributions are much appreciated!

Returns and exchanges
At Gatofante we feel very proud of the quality of our products; otherwise we wouldn't be selling them!

Still, in case you are not satisfied with the product you received, the first you should do is contacting us and telling us all about it: we'll do our best to help you.

If you are still unhappy, we'll accept a return within 15 days since your order was delivered. Just keep us posted, let us know what you didn't like and send your order back in full. We'll happily refund you the cost of the products you had bought.

We care about making people happy, so in general just try explaining us what happened and we'll try figuring out something so you can still feel positive about our shop and rate your transaction with a positive feedback.
Payment is to be made at time of order by Pay Pal. Remember that you can also pay by credit card through Pay Pal even if you don't have a Pay Pal account. (For more information, visit guidelines ).

Some countries levy customs charges and import fees. International customers are responsible for all fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping to their respective countries.

All our products are handmade, so colors, shapes and sizes might not be exactly as shown. Keep in mind each one of our items is pretty much unique.

If you follow you'll have noticed we accept a variable degree customization in some of our items. Please mail or notify us your ideas and needs and we'll confirm you whether we can make it happen. In case your custom changes have a big impact in the cost or time needed to handcraft your order, we'll also let you know and inform you about how to proceed and the changes on the price (if any).
