Announcement G. Jewelry (G-dot)
is created by fusing powdered glass to copper multiple times to achieve the desired effect. Each piece is lightweight, durable & made with enthusiasm. Every earring & pendant is cut, drilled, layered with enamel, fired, filed & wired by the artist.
Several application techniques are used. One technique used is Sgraffito which is the scratching through the final layer of enamel to create the design before the final firing. Another technique is painting with paintable enamels & firing between applications.
Since each piece is hand crafted, pairs are matched but not identical. The ear wires are pure copper which is hypoallergenic
