Frequently asked questions
What license am I buying?
You are purchasing a one-user desktop license, which allows most common commercial uses for one person. See the included license document for details, or visit https://bit.ly/missylicense to read a copy.
Wait, I thought I was buying a font.
When you buy a digital product (font, cut file, e-book, MP3 music, and more), you're actually buying the license, not the product. Think of digital products like booking a hotel room: you aren't actually purchasing the hotel room itself; it still belongs to the hotel. Instead, you're purchasing the right to use the hotel room according to a specific set of rules and guidelines. The room is then provided to you (just as the digital files are provided to you) so that you can use it under those rules.
Can I make an embroidery version of a font?
Nope -- the license available for sale here at Etsy does not allow conversion into any other format, such as an embroidery alphabet, SVG alphabet, or PNG alphabet. Please contact me directly to discuss separate embroidery licensing at missymeyerfonts@gmail.com.
I'm having trouble using single-line fonts in Cricut Design Space. Help!
Yeah, CDS is a bit glitchy when it comes to third-party fonts of any kind, and single-line fonts in particular.
Whether the text is showing up with parts missing in the Make It area, or if you're getting an orange error bar when you go to Make It, the fix is the same: go back to your workboard, select the text, go to Advanced > Ungroup to Letters in the top menu, then with the text still selected, click on "Attach" in the bottom right.
I have a YouTube video that covers this fix and an alternate option here: https://youtu.be/bMIOH1Q3WZg
I have another question that isn't addressed here.
That's cool! It means your question is uniquely awesome. Drop me an email at missymeyerfonts@gmail.com and we'll gab!
