Every time I try a new Comet Vomit polish, it's my new favorite. THIS ONE THOUGH is super perfect. Absolute favorite. You can watch the color change (it happens that fast), and both colors are perfect, and it's perfect as a gradient. It's just perfect. If Tiffany stops making the Hamilton colors, I'm going to go poor buying all that is left.

I'm loving the matte coat these polishes have! Here it is with one coat, and it works fairly well as a one-coater if you apply it evenly enough. Out of all of these, though, I would definitely suggest a second coat, as the fine blue glitter is not as uniform a color as the others. I purchased Jump Gate (middle finger) as a gift, but purchased another color for myself (Rosetta Stoned). Hopefully this color wears as well as mine! Shipping was prompt, and the packaging was cute (festive mailer color, each had some holiday-appropriate tape). I will definitely be ordering again from this lovely vendor!

I'll admit, the color was far less purple than what I was expecting when the product came in (pointer finger). Nevertheless, it was still a pretty color, and the quality is top notch. The person who received this as a gift (their favorite color is purple) absolutely loves it! It works fairly well as a one-coater if you apply it evenly enough. Shipping was prompt, and the packaging was cute (festive mailer color, each had some holiday-appropriate tape). I will definitely be ordering again from this lovely vendor!

I'm currently obsessed with this color (ring finger is Rosetta Stoned). Here it is with one coat, and it works fairly well as a one-coater if you apply it evenly enough. In the product pictures I didn't notice the tiny bits of glitter, so that was a pleasant surprise. Shipping was prompt, and the packaging was cute (festive mailer color, each had some holiday-appropriate tape). I will definitely be ordering again from this lovely vendor!

About

From the drawing board to the polish shop.

Comet Vomit began as a rough sketch in a journal. I just knew I wanted to make nail polish, but I wasn't even sure exactly what that meant at the time. I spent my entire Christmas bonus on supplies in 2012 and got to work. I felt like a mad scientist mixing and shaking and trying out new things. Some things instantly seemed awesome and other things were complete failures. I was ready to throw in the towel in March, but a good friend pushed me to keep going. I got sober and with a few encouraging words from geek god Wil Wheaton himself, I knew I had to keep pushing.

In April of 2013, I really got to work. I began making new colors, taking new photos, posting giveaways and sending samples out for review. I got serious about things. I started making lip balms, eyeshadows and jewelry- expanding my line to new heights. I began searching for conventions and ended up being a vendor at my first sci-fi convention in October of 2013. It was amazing. Selling Comet Vomit to people in the real world, in person was an amazing experience.

In November of 2013, I released my new line The Good Fight collection which is all comic book themed!

2014 brought much life change and many amazing shows and markets. I moved to Nashville, TN in October 2014 to pursue love, fortune and success!

2015 was a great year for me and I'm so happy to be making a living here in Nashville!

2016 brought such great success with with the popularity of my Hamilton line! It was also so wonderful to add my Catventures in Space line and the Stargazer line!!

Payment
I accept major credit cards and paypal! Payment is due at time of checkout. If you pay with an e-check via paypal, funds must clear before Etsy will allow me to print your shipping label. Sometimes this takes a couple of days, but it can take up to a week.
Shipping
Current turn around time is listed generally at the top of my page and in the shipping information on the listings. Turn around time depends on current order volume and how busy my day job is. All items are hand made by me.
I drop my packages directly at the main post office and my packages usually only take 2-4 days to arrive to you within the US. Please note that shipping to other countries can take 1 to as long as 3 weeks due to international shipping time/customs etc. These things are out of my hands, but your tracking number will keep you updated!
I HATE that I currently have to charge so much for shipping internationally. Please note that I am actually charging you several dollars LESS than what I actually pay for the labels only because I HATE having to make you pay so much and want to give you a break. USPS raised rates this year and I do realize that the shipping costs more than the bottle of polish, but please realize that I'm paying even more for that label.
Let me know if you need a faster shipping method and we can work something out.
Refunds and Exchanges
I would like everyone to be happy with their purchases. If your item arrives damaged, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Take a photo of the damage and send it to me. I will replace your item. I have only ever had 2-3 items reported damaged before in all my years of doing this, thankfully. If you are unhappy with your item for any reason, get in contact with me! I want you to be happy!
