Growing up, I liked to go to the ocean, mountains, parks and whatnot shops to collect wistful: seashells, colourful stones, flowers, beads and spangles to make crafts and playful jewelry. Anything that looked natural and unique always caught my eye and inspired me to collect for beauty, draw or create. The work at that time always had a touch of nature mixed in along with the caprices of the day.

When I had the chance to live in Paris for several years and I took the opportunity to take classes with floral design experts, art historians, fashion designers and learned the history and the modern day techniques of how European culture has and does fuse with Asian societies. These lessons started the fire and inspiration to begin a host of design projects from floral, jewelry to paintings.

Now being a New Yorker for 9-years and having experienced the fashion district from: associate, buyer, apprentice to a Tiffany designer, I now have found the focus of how to merge modern city feels with naturalistic beauties.

HWestNY, established in 2010, offers my exclusive designs in earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings and pendants. Moreover I offer custom handmade pieces to where I can work to advise clients to the charm of a piece that they are desiring or can custom make to their exact specifications.

Thus, all pieces are one of a kind with using the best in stones that can be found from New York’s ubiquitous and not so public markets capturing the best of what the world has to discriminating tastes.
