I purchased this as a gift for a wedding and it was a big hit. The ordering process was very easy. Immediately after placing the order, we received a link for a detailed questionnaire. The original proof came a few weeks later and we were able to request some minor revisions (change the hair color of one person, remove the belt from the other, etc.). The finished product was high quality and exactly what we saw in the final proof. If you are giving this as a gift for a particular event/holiday, just make sure to allow enough time as the days required for creation, revisions, shipping can add up!

Is the lettering vinyl?

Nope! I do use a stencil to hand paint the lettering, but there is no vinyl on my work.

Care instructions

My signs are not sealed with any kind of clear coat. Because my signs are for indoor decorative use, I feel that coating them is an unnecessary step and changes the look of the finished product. Chalk paint holds up very well! A warm wet rag will usually do the trick. And if you feel compelled to use a clear coat, just know that over time, the sign may yellow and I cannot be held responsible for that!

Sizing details

I really try to use older wood materials. So if I find a little bit smaller or larger piece for your order, I may message you and ask if it's ok to use. My feelings will not be hurt if the listing description is what you need! But sometime finding cool old wood means sacrificing an inch or two!
