Announcement    GEORGE DELELIS. Born in Thessaloniki, he studied mechanical engineering and later moved to Germany where he learned to work with various metals and tools. But he continued to be fascinated by the idea of using his skills to express himself through creations of his own. For this reason he first went to Italy, where he started working on silverware and other precious metals. Now based in Athens, his great love for the Greek culture and the importance of the olive tree inpired him to create his own artwork. To this day, his creations are borne out of a love for Greece and a passion for silverwork. George Delelis' gallery and shop in Nea Smyrni, Athens has been open for several years and features a number of his own work.
