Where it started!
Hi my name is Vicky and I am the proud owner of Get Out of Anything cards.
I am a mum, wife, daughter, sister, friend and cancer survivor and this fun and cheeky card business came about following my own cancer diagnosis in 2021.
During and after my 3 years of chemotherapy, hormone therapy, radiotherapy, preventative no chemo and multiple surgeries I like lots of us found dark humour the best way of dealing with it all.
“Pulling” the cancer card to get out of things I didn’t want to do gave me the idea to made a physical one of my own!
After a few designs this special card then turned into the Gold card you see today
Requests for different conditions now mean I have a portfolio of around 80 cards and variations.
As with all of these cards it is not to belittle the condition/disease just to give the owner of the card a little dark humour in difficult times.
Join me as we navigate through challenges life puts in our way - finding some light in the shade, a little smile and a sprinkle of fun to make times little more bearable on those harder days.
