About

Happily Ever After

Fred and I started our shop because we wanted to make items everyone could afford. We wanted to close the gap between the maker and the consumer. I spend long days in the work room soldering, cutting, and sanding. Fred works in a local steakhouse in the evenings and in the mornings he helps me with all the technical stuff. We are the owners, operators, and only workers in the Gifthorst world. Every piece from start to finish is made by us. We make all of our packaging in our workspace at home. We love what we do and are very grateful for the opportunity to business owners. We are new to this life and still figuring it out, but amazed at the amount of support we have received.

Shop policies

Welcome to our shop. We're a couple of artist fabricators who decided to share the things we make, outside of our immediate family and friends. Our goal is to become jacks of most trades, so our items are fairly diverse. But they all carry the same level of craft and care that we aim for. You won't find anything in our shop that we wouldn't love to wear or have in our home, and we're constantly coming up with new things to make and post up. Hopefully you see something you like, and if you don't just let us know and we can figure something out.

Returns and exchanges
Given the handmade nature of our items, it is possible that some damage may occur in some cases. If your item shows up busted, we're of course happy to replace it and cover the extra shipping costs.
Payment
We only take paypal, the other stuff is too tricky. We can do cancellations as long as you catch us before it ships.
Shipping
We use FLAT RATE us post, unless otherwise requested. We ship quickly and are not responsible for how long the item takes to arrive once in the hands of the post. Generally allow 3-4 days for packing and shipping.
FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: we use standard U.S. first class parcel post. Please allow at least 3 weeks for shipping and clearing customs, sometimes longer depending on the destination. If you would like the item shipped faster, we're happy to do it, but the shipping cost will be adjusted to cover it.
Additional policies and FAQs
Most of our items are customizable, and in some cases it's necessary. That being said, we can also accept unlisted customizations or projects, as well as large orders or commissions.
