Hello, Welcome to my shop's policies page. Jewelry making and Mixed media has been a passion for me for quite some time now. I wasn't able to pursue my passion consistently until an accident left me with a long recovery. During my downtime, I started reading and my creative juices started flowing again. I have taken classes from my mentor, Nancy Miller,, for years now and have recently taken some refresher classes. The pieces I make are one of a kind. Many start as a drawing in my sketchbook. From that I have made photo polymer plates to transfer the image to clay. In other cases, I have made molds from various found items. I have the ability to duplicate some pieces but due to the nature of PMC (precious metal clay), no two pieces will be exactly the same. These are handcrafted, artisan made.

PMC is reclaimed silver that is mixed with a binder to form a clay. It can be molded, sculpted, rolled, etc., just like any other clay. The possibilities are endless with what can be done! Once formed, the piece is then fired and polished. Sometimes a patina is added to bring out details. When all is said and done we have fine silver that can be hallmarked as .999. Sterling is .925.

Because I get bored easily, I also love mixed media in all shapes and forms. I love collage, and have used some of my original work in my jewelry making. My love of vintage and found items will find it's way into some of my pieces as well. My intent is to have beautiful, handcrafted pieces, that are one of a kind and unique.

I will also at this time mention my other passion. The rescue & retraining of Off The Track Thoroughbreds (OTTB's). I own 2 of these wonderful horses. So many are thrown away and sent to slaughter if they do not make it on the track. There are many wonderful rescues, taking in these horses and retraining them, and then finding them adoptive homes. Since I cannot take in any more horses, my way of helping is to donate 10% of all my sales to a rescue in need.
