Gijduvan Crafts Center is place where each artwork is made with soul

The shop is created as a part of crafts center in 2001 by Abdulla Narzullaev. He worked in workshop of his father for may years, his father and he himself dreamt about opening museum of ceramics and decided to run his own bussines. And in January of 2001 he had opening ceremony of Gijduvan ceramics museum complex where he had ceramic and embroidery workshops, ceramics museum and a gallery where his and his family artworks are represented.
In 2019 he wanted to expand handicrafts of the family and opened a silk carpet workshop. Usually gallery and workshops are visited by 7000- 7500 local and international visitors. But according to the pandemic situation, we decided add online function to our work.

  • Abdulla Narzullaev

    Owner, Grand Master Of Ceramics, Founder Of Gijduvan Ceramics Museum

    Master ceramist in sixth generation. Abdulla Narzullaev learned ceramics from early ages from his father master Ibodullo. Experienced master has participated more than 120 exhibitions and festivals with his traditional and innovative artworks.

  • Akmaljon Narzullaev

    Owner, Customer Service, Photographer

    Seventh generation master ceramist. Akmaljon continues family traditions of ceramic making. As well as succeeded in restoring and recreating Samanid period ceramic. Participant of national and international events and festivals.

  • Gulbahor Narzullaeva

    Master Of Embroidery

    Gulbahor has been doing embroidery since 1998. She participated in different projects of natural dyes. During these years she has more than 80 apprentice who have learned suzani making. She tries to support females in social life by their jobs.

  • Mavluda Narzullaeva

    Master Of Embroidery

    Mavluda learned embroidery from her mom Mustabshira. From 1998 Mavluda and Gulbahor renovated suzani school of Gijduvan. Starting their career of arts in the family, they have now created a group of women and girls who do professional embroidery.
