Announcement   Vintage inspired 1940s style hair snoods, I believe you will not find better anywhere. Each one is made with great care by me personally. I also make Gin Poodles and whatever else takes my fancy. All hand made using skills honed over decades. I studied fashion at college, then trained in Savile Row before going to to work as a hand beader for the wonderful Zandra Rhodes.

Beware of imitations of my snoods, I know of a couple of sellers that have tried to copy my design which is flattering I suppose.. but dirty. If in doubt check out my feedback. Thanks for reading this far!

Fantastic item- very well made and lovely colour. Was worried it wouldn't sit well or fit my fat head but it's perfect and sits just like the photos.

Such a beautiful hair snood, both well designed and made not to mention soft. The bow on top is the perfect finish 😀

Felt like receiving a present! Great communication from the seller and a beautiful handwritten note was included. Snood looks fabulous, I'll definitely be ordering more.

Updates

I've just updated the photos of this snood to show off the chocolatey gorgeousness better.
I don't have an awful lot of this colour left - enough to make another 12.

Hurry hurry! That extremely limited edition snood I mention on Facebook yesterday is now live! There are only two of them so if you want one best be quick before I decide to keep one for myself!

Have you seen this vintage style cardigan? This is the first one I've done in black and I think it looks so chic.

About

Retro inspired and kitsch accessories and homewares

I've been making things for years and wanted to sell them but found online auction sites a bit traumatic and I'm not quite brave enough to do craft fairs. Besides I've only recently learned to drive so getting stock to a craft fair wasn't going to be easy in my pre-licence days.

I really like vintage styling so most of my things have a nod to the past, I'm rather fond of 1930s-early1960s but I like modern things too, so I'm more of a fan than a devotee.

I started crocheting snoods after being inspired by a 1940's hair and make-up workshop I attended and now make them on my commute to work., in front of the telly and in the park when the weather is nice.
